A FinTech company was planning to attend a networking event to potentially hire designers. My challenge at this project was to explain in simple words and visual metaphors a technical term of an API for non-technical audience.
RESEARCH
This project as every project I'm working on have started for me with a research. It was important for me to understand well a topic and the definition of API to be able to explain it in the 30 sec video.
SKETCHES
After the research I got to sketch a draft storyboard to put my ideas for the video on paper.
STORYBOARD
After draft storyboard stage I jump into the Photoshop to create a cleaner version on the storyboard to share it with a client and check if we are on the same page.
STYLEFRAMES
After the storyboard was approved I have created a styleframe for every key point of the video based on company's brand book and shared it with a client.
ANIMATION
After style frames were approved as well I've started the After Effects part of the project and after few rounds of revisions we had our video to present FinTech on their event.
