In the begging of 2021 I was asked by Bunt Schoen Laut Filmproduction to create an animated inputs to the documentary about women rights in Europa.
The project is very heavy emotionally as it is touching such a sensitive topics as abortions, women rights, health, choice what is right and what is wrong.
I had to visualize a stories of a few women around Europe, as some of them didn't wanted to reveal their faces to camera, and the story of one women had a very tragic ending and we had to show the last minutes of her life with the help of animation.
TITLE
Everything starts with a sketch. I'm always starting the work on a project with putting my ideas on paper, this is the quickest way to express everything you have in mind and then you are free to choose the best ones.
Moving to the storyboard. Ones I picked the best ideas, it's time to create a storyline. In the storyboard, I'm sending to client there is also a description of the camera movement and the movement inside of the scene.
Animation is the largest part of the project. My process starts with the traditional frame by frame animation, and then I move to the After Effects, so all the animation are the vector shape layers with an applied textures.
